Designed for individuals with previous Macromedia® Dreamweaver experience, this course will focus on the more advanced features of the program as well as features used by professional developers in team situations. Web designer Anne Jungman will discuss Dreamweaver’s site management and automation capabilities, adding interactivity and multimedia to websites, and Dreamweaver’s ability to interact with databases and content management tools. HTML experience is helpful but not required. Note: Participants will use Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 software. Prerequisite: Using Dreamweaver to Create and Manage Websites or equivalent experience Topics will include the following:
Instructor: Anne Jungman, an independent consultant, plans, designs, and builds websites. Since 1996, she has been involved in design, production, consulting, training, and documentation projects with WebArchitects, her Internet consulting company. In 2002, she completed a five-year assignment as project manager with the Internet services team of the JPMorgan Chase shared technology and operations division. Ms. Jungman is currently a Web developer and project manager with Chevron’s global information design and consulting division. Participants will work in a computer lab at individual workstations using the Windows® operating system.
