Why Consider a Principal Certification?

Are you seeking more out of your education career?

Principal working with students

The media is reporting a mass departure of educators from schools across Texas and the country in general. Why? We all know how difficult education can be, and this reality has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. These difficulties, without proper support, can leave teachers feeling depleted and as if their ability to make a difference is limited.

Yet, there is still this passion to assist in the development of children and their futures. So, what is next? What can you do to further your mission towards impacting the lives of children, their learning and their futures?

You may want to consider a principal certification. Earning this certification not only prepares you for principal positions, it also creates pathways to a broad range of careers focused on student development and success. In alignment with Texas policy, a principal certification can lead to roles like dean of instruction, dean of student, instructional coach, teacher developer, professional development trainer, and the list continues. It expands your career pathway options. The current Texas principal certificate reads Principal as Instructional Leader. A principal certification does not narrow your path--it opens a multitude of doors.
