BIOGRAPHY
Korin Brody, associate director, Center for Community Learning and Engagement, helps create, manage, and execute short, non-credit courses for the community. She has been at Rice since 2017 and is particularly involved in course planning, program development and various special projects. Korin works closely with the CLE Assistant Dean to foster strong connections with faculty, community experts and co-sponsoring organizations to extend the depth and breadth of CLE’s creative programming. Korin has worked in adult learning and professional development in both corporate and academic settings since 1992. She managed an executive MBA program and customized executive education programs for the Kenan-Flagler Business School at University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. She also coordinated training and professional development for Texas A&M University System’s initiative, the Institute for School-University Partnerships. She holds a BA in psychology from Lawrence University, a Certificate in Human Resources Management from University of Southern Maine and a Certificate of Organizational Development from University of North Carolina – Charlotte. Korin is also a registered yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) and formerly ran her own business teaching yoga classes and training yoga teachers.
