George Zombakis
BIOGRAPHY

George Zombakis, is Assistant Director of Professional & Corporate Programs at the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies. He manages a portfolio of successful face-to-face and online programs in the fields of human resources, paralegal studies, project management, communication, healthcare, leadership and partnership offerings. Mr. Zombakis supports program development to create and deliver relevant and timely curriculum for students seeking to develop new skills that meet the evolving demands of today’s workforce across a broad range of industries and disciplines. Mr. Zombakis is chair of the Professional Development Committee for Rice University’s Staff Council and co-chairman of the GSCS Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act Committee tasked with identifying eligible professional development funding for student education.

Prior to Rice University, Mr. Zombakis held a variety of key roles with the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. He has a master’s degree in museum studies from Texas Tech University and a bachelor’s degree in art history from George Mason University.
